By browsing this website or submitting a form on it, you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use the site on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind that organisation.

Use of this site

You may read this site, print pages from it, and quote from it with attribution. You may not:

• use automated means to submit our forms, or send us anything other than a genuine enquiry;
• attempt to access any part of the site, server, or database that is not made public;
• probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the site without our prior written permission;
• use the site to transmit malicious code, or anything unlawful, defamatory, or harassing;
• scrape this site to train a machine learning model without our written permission.

Intellectual property

The text, layout, design, graphics, and code of this website belong to Sciematics Insights or are used under licence. The Sciematics name and mark belong to us. The articles on our Insights page may be quoted with attribution and a link, and may not be reproduced in full.

Third party components used on this site remain the property of their authors and are used under their respective open source licences.

Models, code, and other deliverables produced for a client belong to that client on the terms of their contract, not on the terms of this page.

What you send us

If you send us an idea, a suggestion, or feedback about our services, you grant us a non exclusive, royalty free right to use it. We say this because we cannot run a practice that must first check whether an idea arrived by email before acting on it.

This does not apply to anything covered by a non disclosure agreement between us, and it does not apply to a resume or application, which we treat as described in the Privacy Policy.

Do not send confidential data or proprietary datasets through the contact form. Ask us to sign a non disclosure agreement first, and we will.

This site is not an offer

Everything on this website, including any indication of capability, timeline, or result, is provided for information. It is an invitation to talk, not a binding offer.

No guarantee of model performance

The metrics published in our case studies were measured on specific datasets, under specific conditions, at a specific time. They are reported with confidence intervals precisely because they are estimates rather than promises.

Machine learning performance depends on the quality, volume, and stability of your data, none of which we control before an engagement begins. We do not guarantee that a model will reach any particular metric, and we will not enter a contract that requires us to. Any firm that guarantees you an accuracy figure before seeing your data is telling you something about itself.

Models degrade over time as the distribution of the data shifts. A model that performs well at delivery may not do so a year later, which is why monitoring accompanies every deployment.

Not professional advice

Nothing on this site, including the Insights articles and the description of Indian regulation on our Responsible AI page, is legal, financial, medical, or professional advice. Our summary of the regulatory landscape is our understanding at the date shown, and the law is moving. Take advice from a qualified adviser before relying on any of it.

Where we deliver an analysis, a model, or an opinion under an engagement, it is provided for the purposes agreed in that engagement and should not be relied on by anyone else or for any other purpose.

This site links to the websites of Acmez Technologies, Aarhit Consultancy, and Webyfied Technologies, companies within the same group but separate legal entities with their own terms.

Our work frequently involves platforms operated by third parties, including cloud providers and model providers. Your use of those platforms is governed by their terms, not ours, and we are not responsible for changes they make.

Availability

We try to keep the site available, but we do not promise it will be. We may change, suspend, or withdraw any part of it without notice.

Disclaimer

This website is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we exclude all warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Sciematics Insights will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from your use of this website, including loss of profit, loss of data, or business interruption.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

This clause governs the website. Liability under a signed engagement is dealt with in that contract.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Haridwar, Uttarakhand have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest continue in force.
